For those of you who pledged for a hardcover edition, we have some exciting updates!

We're thrilled to announce that the signature page for the hardcovers went to the printer today! You can see the finished signature page attached to this email. We've opted for a premium printing on 21 mil Entrada Rag, which will really make the signatures pop.

Even more exciting, we're offering a limited number of remarque sketches in the hardcover books! We'll be filming Steve creating these unique sketches, so keep an eye out for those videos.

This is our first hardcover sketchbook since 2013, and we're pulling out all the stops to make it something special. We've invested in higher-quality binding and printing, and we truly hope the extra expense will be worth it for you, our backers. We think you'll love the final product!

Hey Awesome Backers,

Great News! The Test Survey is now LIVE for a select group of backers! You've been chosen to get early access and help us ensure everything is perfect before the full survey launch.

Inside the Test Survey:

  • Review Your Pledge Items: Your rewards are pre-loaded in your cart! Please carefully review and confirm all items are correct, including quantities. Let us know immediately if anything is missing. Important Note: There is a known visual glitch showing two bookplate items in some orders. Backerkit is resolving this display issue, and you will only be charged correctly for one. Please check your order summary for accurate charges.
  • Limited Remarque Offer: For Hardcover Book backers, Steve is offering a limited number of unique sketches (remarques) for an additional $100. You'll find this option in the survey. (Hardcover books only. Limited quantity available).

Important: This is a Test Survey! 

This survey is a real checkout system, but it's currently released to a small test group only. We need your help to ensure everything is perfect before the full launch. Please carefully review every detail and let us know if you spot any issues – typos, incorrect costs, or anything unexpected. Your feedback is critical to a successful full survey release.

The Art of Steve Rude 2025 campaign has successfully concluded with over $37,000 pledged! Thank you all so much for your incredible support!

Pre-Sale Store is NOW OPEN!

You can now order books and other merchandise through our pre-sale store. This store will remain open for a few weeks, so don't miss your chance to grab any additional items.

What Happens Next?
  1. Pledge Processing: BackerKit will begin charging everyone for their pledges now.

  2. Fund Processing & Failed Pledges: We'll need to wait two weeks while BackerKit processes these funds and contacts backers with failed pledges.

  3. Post-Campaign Surveys (February 13th): On February 13th, we will send out the post-campaign surveys. This is where you'll make all your final decisions regarding your rewards.

  4. Free Alice Print Deadline (February 19th): Complete your survey by February 19th to receive the free Alice print!

  5. Stay Tuned! We'll continue to share updates and behind-the-scenes progress as we move forward with production. Keep an eye out for more news!

Just a head's up you only have a FEW HOURS left to back my 2025 Sketchbook before it disappears into the mists of time (or, you know, gets lost in the depths of my overflowing art bin).

It's packed with a year's worth of my sketches, doodles, and all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff I scribbled down. This sketchbook has been a real labor of love for me, and I'm excited to share it with you.  


HOW IS THE HARDCOVER AWESOMELY AMAZING?

  • Well, it's a hardcover! 

  • VERY limited run of only 250

  • Cover printed with specialty PMS Metallic Inks

  • Extra signature page , hand signed by Steve and sewn into the book

  • This is the only edition that will be hand signed (all others will have signed stickers)

  • All books are shrink wrapped
